Lisa Grahn was a PhD student at the Department of Literature at Uppsala University. She wrote the dissertation about the theme of motherhood in the works of the Swedish author Sara Lidman (1923–2003). Her research interests include motherhood in modern literature, issues surrounding sexuality and the body, and female storytelling in social media.
